Mt Indefatigable is part of the Opal Range in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It was named after a British battlecruiser that was sunk in the early stages of the Battle of Jutland in WWI (AKA the Battle of Skagerrak). Six other peaks in the same range are named after ships or people involved in the battle.
This area was heavily damaged by a massive flood in June 2013
