Digital Library Of My Mother's Coffee Cups

This was one of the cups in my Mother's coffee cup collection. The collection numbers in the hundreds and I have just started cataloging them all by photographing them. There are cups from places, businesses; with humorous sayings on them; and even spiritual message ones. There are also several types of cups that were staples in greasy spoons and show the use they had before being retired to her collection. These sturdy, non-descript cups are probably my favorites.

This is another one of the coffee cups in my late Mother's collection. This one was from a casino in Las Vegas. It used to be called Fitzgerald's, but it's been bought out and renamed to "The D." (For 'downtown,' as that's where it's located.)

A quirky-shaped coffee cup I bought for my Mom a long time ago. I've always been into Cadillacs, hence the reasoning behind the cup.

Another one of the pieces from my late Mother's coffee cup collection. This one is from Playa del Carmen, a popular resort and vacation destination located along the eastern coast of Mexico on the Caribbean. I posted it today in honor of Cinco de Mayo - an important Mexican army victory on May 5th, 1862.
