This is my series of photographs delineating the post-Cold War bathroom in the modernistic setting; i.e. that porcelain repository known as "The Urinal."

Everybody recognizes them, but hardly ever speaks about them. They certainly don't get framed and hung on the wall in museums as art. But, why not?

Is this what our society has become - all stark and utilitarian, with no personality? Taken on April 7th, 2015 at the Veterans Administration hospital I go to - known as "the V.A." All apologies to The Rolling Stones for paraphrasing the title of one of their songs for this image. You're also welcome to peruse other images in the album that this one belongs to. It's called "Urban Relief."
