This was Barbara, who also worked on the high school yearbook staff with me. She was a year ahead of me in school, so this would have been for the 1977-1978 school year. Taken at a home basketball game. She is fixing Polaroid prints that ended up in that year's yearbook.

Great candid photo! I was on the school newspaper for a semester ... but found it even more boring than study hall which was a pretty tough thing to do! They already had a photographer and they really never figured out what to do with me.

Yes, that's exactly what she's doing, Tony! I had a couple more shots in this series and one shows about 6 to 8 Polaroids she'd already taken and I was able to match them up with shots used in her 1978 Senior yearbook as having been taken on the same night I shot these pictures of her. If I could get hold of old basketball schedules from that year, I'd be able to put an exact date to this image. I also took some shots of the players and can tell from their uniforms what town they're from.
