Busy Busy Bees

I was only about 7 inches away from these bees. Since they were swarming, I knew they wouldn't sting. It's a good thing, because I was only wearing shorts and no protective gear.

The story on this shot: A windstorm blew part of my neighbor's tree down, necessitating having to cut it down completely so it wouldn't fall on his house. Once it was cut down, it split open and there turned out to be a bee hive inside it. Until the bees swarmed up to move to a new home, I got this shot of them.
