The most North Easterly Lighthouse on the UK Mainland is the Duncansby Head Lighthouse the tower was builtin 1924 under the supervision of David Stevenson, A large view will reveal the two Pentland Skerries lighthouses on the island of Muckle Skerry,
These are just three of many that protect shipping in the Pentland Firth.

An interesting image and I found the map helpful with the location. I presume, like most lights, it's now automated.

Many thanks George, all are now automated and controlled from many miles away, and the former keepers cottages are virtually all holiday lets.

Beautifully taken with the sheep in front! Spending a holiday in the lighthouse keeper's cottage must be very relaxing.
