Going Down.

Going Down.
Long shadows from a fiery sunset and reflections in the harbour at Kyleakin, Isle of Skye.
This was the island terminal for ferries from the mainland until the opening of the Skye bridge in 1996, many drivers will remember the long queues waiting for a ship to arrive.

I think it looks better large. HFF.

Such a magnificent sunset...................the colour in the sky is amazing and I love the way it's reflected in the water and the building. The houses on the waterfront look lovely.

I don't know this part of sky Roger............but I imagine it may lost a lot of business when the bridge opened.

Thank you Keith, For a number of years this has been our base for the area, it's attractive and mainly quiet but still busy with overnight tours filling accommodation (as across the harbour in the image) and a couple of renowned backpackers pubs plus coach trips stopping off for food etc.
