I've had some great holidays there Roger, mostly with my mum and dad in the 1960's, as there were 5 kids and we could all do what we wanted at Butlin's. Happy days!! :-)

I've just corrected that to 1960's Roger, from 1060's....even I'm not that old ;-))

Nice weather over there! Here in Portugal have been the same sunny days and no rain, which means a threat of drought this year once more.

Amazing beachscenery in winter!

Thank you Stefani, We had a fews day of bright sunshine and light overnight frosts.

I'd recognise those domes anywhere..............there's a very similar set-up in Bognor Regis!

I really like the way you've composed this one Roger............the domes are well placed in the frame and the apartment block balances balances them out nicely. The beach looks quite beautiful (although I guess it will look very different in the summer months) and I like the natural rock groynes.

Many thanks Keith, I think every center has the same type of domes, The rock groynes were introduced after the beach was washed away when new sea defences were built, They spent weeks putting sand back on the beach and don't want to lose it again, ;-))
