I have no idea where the bread came from but one of our local Wood Pigeons appears to be treating it with suspicion or is it considering having a nibble.

A pigeon EXACTLY like this one is coming in my garden (among the turtledoves) every afternoon to eat some seads and bread. Made several photographs ot it too ツ

Indeed they do Erich, we have a couple of pair who visit regularly and clear seeds that ,
small birds drop from the feeders although they remain wary of humans,
