Up a Muddy Creek

Up a Muddy Creek
Combwich Pill, Bridgwater on the River Parrett has been used by shipping since 14th century and from the 1830s the Pill was used for the importation of coal and the export of locally made bicks and tiles, this trade ceased in the 1930s. The modern wharf on the right was constructed during the building of a nearby power station.
