Underneath view of the co-ax cable connection point. Years ago my TV antenna was performing poorly so I took it down to check. I found it had a printed circuit adapter, AKA balun, to interface the antenna's balanced dipole element to co-ax cable. I found a printed circuit inductor was open circuit. This was replaced by a thin insulated wire. When reinstalled it work much better. October 2012.
