Das Bild entstand 2006, war seitdem u.a. Gegenstand mehrerer Ausstellungen zum Thema "Tief ins Glas geschaut!" und wurde 2007 in der "fotocommunity" gezeigt. Der schönste Kommentar, den es dort erhielt, lautet:

Das Bild steht zwar schon ein "paar Tage" hier, trotzdem finde ich es exzellent - die optische Abstraktion eines akustischen Vorgangs, und doch sofort einleuchtend und fassbar! Landet man eigentlich, wenn man so lange, so gut, so viel fotografiert, zwangsläufig beim Abstrakten? Ich könnte das gut verstehen.
