Take a photo with aperture rays, without a star filter. - Stop down to at least f/8 or more - test different settings. - Also use a different lens. - In the dark, it is best to find point light sources that shine directly into the lens. - In the dark - place the camera on a tripod or a solid surface and release the shutter with the 2-second shutter release delay. - So-called sun stars also work during the day, don't look through the viewfinder with an SLR camera! It doesn't have to be a special motif - it's all about taking pictures!
