The Shadow

My father painted this in oil as a copy of an original painting featured in a book. Unfortunately he doesn't remember the original artist, and, so far, I have not found it on the Internet. Thanks to Ann and Dida for identifying the original artwork as The Shadow by Charles Blackman, Australian artist. Tribute to my Mum and Dad

So sad posting this, as my dear old Dad passed away early in the morning on Friday 10th May. So this is a tribute to both Mum and Dad for the Sunday challenge - Mothers. I am so grateful to both my parents for the love and opportunities they gave me. I wish they could still be here, and will love them forever. xxxxxxx
