Photographer on the 2013 Worldwide Photo Walk in Mooloolaba, Queensland. I did not ask to take the portrait. He was on a lower boardwalk at the Mooloolaba Marina, looked up and gave me this great smile.

The eyes and the smile grab the viewer from the onset. Realizing that this was a quick shot and not a studio portrait, you did a great job of capturing the person within. Putting on my critical cap, I found the background to be a bit distracting, even though it was nicely blurred, and the color seemed to be washed out a bit. There was a reddish hue to the skin tones rather than a warmer hue that matched the smile. The square cropping worked very well.

Thanks for your interesting feedback. If you look at the original in the note, you will see the reason for the reddish skin tones, amazing light that afternoon.
