You're right, Sami...without flash I cannot do this shots. Maybe there is another way but I don't know another one.

I guess the flash is the best way to get a really short exposure. Some new cameras have even 1/4000, or even shorter. But in this case (water drops) I believe electronic also gives a very nice and welcome shiny effect on droplets.

I agree with you, Sami...I tried some ways to capture the drops with reflections but this was the only way that finally worked for me. What also helps me is a good spotlight over the place where I take the drop shots and in this case it's the bathroom sink. It didn't work so well with the light in the kitchen sink. I only noticed that this detail is important too.
