MERV had been the capital of prospering Margiana and the major center on the international caravan line of the Silk Road long before the approach of our era.
The ancient settlement of Merv is a part of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Ancient Merv” and is under the state protection as UNESCO Heritage Site.

Tresigallo is a little italian municipality in the province of Ferrara.
It is remarkable for the transformations carried on by the Minister of Agriculture Edmondo Rossoni, He developed and supervised the new village map, completely rebuilding it along rational lines (“Architettura razionalista”) from 1927 to 1934.
