Italica amphitheatre

This is a view of the amphitheatre in Italica, a major Roman town near Seville. The Roman emperors Trajan and Hadrian were born there and this amphitheatre was commissioned by Hadrian. It could seat 25,000 spectators, more than double the population of the town.

The Court of the Lions in the Alhambra in Granada was constructed in about 1380 as part of the Nasrid plalace of Muhammad V.
