Ivelet Bridge over the River Swale
Another photo from my recent Coast to Coast walk. This hump-backed bridge has been dated to the late 16th cent. On the north side of the bridge, set into the verge, is a coffin stone where pall bearers rested with the coffin on their journey from Muker down to the church at Grinton.
