Keep the door. It gives the beast a look of defending the home. It also looks a bit forest like as if the wolf has emerged from the trees

I wasn't happy with the crop and thanks to you, Phil, I now understand why. I had recognized the jarring contrast between the wolf and the house but not really understood why it was jarring. I'm still looking for the sculptor. There is an online archive of Toronto sculpture but searching otis difficult.
