gotta put a dame on the cover
Cut-paper collage 7 1/2" x 10 1/2"

As I went through a stack of pulp crime books, I just kept noticing the women on the covers, so I decided to make a collage tribute to the dames of the pulps. =grin=

I find old US pulps in neglected corners of neglected charity shops, the more lurid the cover the better. Many of them are well written, fast paced. I find some great writers... Chester Himes, James.M.Cain etc. The last time I bought one I took it to the counter, the woman looked at the cover, looked at me, winced, and said : “You can have that for free.”
