fall un-fashion collage

The challenge here was to create a collage from elements found in one of the fall fashion mags, The catch? Neither any part of a model's body, nor any fashion, could be shown.
The trouble w/ collage materials from these mags is that fashion ads & layouts offer lots of interesting backgrounds, but the tall models on each page mean you get lots of tall, narrow strips. So I went with the flow & made a tall, narrow collage.
After I got this assembled, I noticed the absent model & the fashion she's wearing are still in the picture--in the form of their shadow on the door. Kind of surreal...
While cutting out the dog, I discovered something else, that I found quite shocking: there was a photoshop error--small, but very noticeable when you looked right at it--where a dark background was marred by a little pixilated column of lighter color. A high-priced ad, in a tony magazine! Someone's head should roll for that blooper. =laugh=
