This card is kind of a joke about the difference between the recipient's sensibililty--she likes cute stuff--and mine--I'm sort of anti-cute. Background from Sherwood Forlee's Walls Notebook, an interesting blank book that invites you to write on photos of urban walls. Cat from Evelyn Gathing's "Cats & Kittens" sticker collection (Dover).

enjoying perusing your collages. sorry i don't have time to comment on them all!

i like the simplicity of this one, keeping the focus on the joke. You call this a "card". I'm curious what size your collages are - I felt this one would be fun to send as a post card.

i so appreciate other's abilities to collage as i struggle with such things.

Thanks so much! This one did indeed go out in the mail—hence my reference to its "recipient." I started out sending all my collages out as 6" x 9" (US first-class mail) postcards, with a message & mail art on the other side. Then I expanded into making larger collages, up to 11" x 17", but I've never entirely abandoned collage postcards & mail art.
