Cashews

I like them (often too much)

Good composition still. Maybe a little different light may have been a thing to add some punch.

I've not been successful in trying to photograph food either. The cashews look delicious, though.

It tells me I could eat these now!

Esther, these are something I have a hard time saying "No" to. Liked them since I was a little girl. (and that has been a looong time ) :) When seen large you can really the the details.

I know what you mean about taking food photographs!

Mouth watering, Esther. I love cashews, and this is such an appealing photo of them.

I think you judge yourself too harshly. You did this food photo beautifully. I like you angle, and your choice of background - the curves on the table relate to the curve of the cashews. And of course the color is similar and that adds a nice touch to the photo.

It does seem to take a special skill to do food photography well in general, but you figured it out for the cashews!
