I wouldn't say I'm actually optimistic. Yes, the mood of humanity these days is terrible and seems to be running through a tunnel without a light at the end.

It may be that the Corona crisis is not enough to overthrow power in the narrowest sense, but do we need it at all for a more humane, fairer, better future in all areas of life?
Is it not rather in the hands of the "simple" people to bring selfish oligarchs to their senses...?
On the other hand, many things are already visibly and noticeably changing for the better. And that gives reason for hope. So, please, cheer up and don't despair, Eric.

Bien sûr maintenant tout le monde il est beau, tout le monde il est gentil... Foutaise !!!
Depuis que le monde est monde, l'être humain n'est que ce qu'il est, pervers et sournois, bon et gentil. Chacun fait son choix de vie. Il est malheureux qu'une catastrophe intervienne pour que chacun prenne conscience de son existence ici-bas et se remette en question pour ne pas souffrir de ses mauvaises intentions le jour du jugement dernier.
Dire bonjour à son voisin, tenir la porte à une vielle ou jolie dame, etc., etc... faire le bien plutôt que le mal, partout et tout le temps, c'est une affaire de tous les jours, encore et encore.
Il n'est pas compliqué d'être humainement humain. Il suffit juste de le vouloir et de sentir son cœur battre au rythme de sa bonne conscience.
Longue et joyeuse vie à toutes et tous.
