Danke Gudrun - wir waren auch eher "underwhelmed". Der Gezeitenstrom hat logischerweise zweimal am Tag sein Maximum und zweimal auch sein Minimum. Das Maximum haben wir nicht erwischt, und die Landschaft hat nur kleine Reize. Hübsch, aber dafür den Preis des Ausflugs?

Das ist der Hauptgrund, weshalb ich da noch nie war... Für den Saltstraumen braucht man die Gezeitentabelle, um zu sehen, ob es sich überhaupt lohnt.

Unsere Freunde hatten die Schlauchboottour gemacht und waren begeistert. Dafür hat die Strömung also noch gereicht ;-)

Oh, please don't get me wrong - I did and still do appreciate the landscape and the views (more pics to come) - but I was dissappointed by the tidal current that we were out to see.
