The great sharpness debate! Flickr vs. Ipernity vs. 500px

As promised, I have combined screenshots of the website's presentation of an identical upload of mine. It shows that, yes, Flickr has increased the sharpness of the foto compared to what can be seen on ipernity. But that has a price, of course: more artefacts. 500px obviouosly goes a different direction, but that's all fine with me. I stick with ipernity!

Erhard Bernstein club has replied to TaorminaA very interesting debate, but we must also put this in the perspective of the resolution of the computer monitor on which it is viewed. (or the printer which prints it..)
Consider a 4000 X 3000 pixel photo on a 2000 X 1500 pixel monitor....
Best wishes, and a good weekend.
Peter
