The crowdfunding campaign is separate and independent of peoples' subscription payment to Ipernity S.A. and meant to erase a significant shortfall and buy time for the transfer of ownership to IMA. If the goal is not met, Ipernity WILL shutdown at the end of the month. It will be deemed financially unviable to continue. Therefore it is critical that everyone who wants Ipernity to continue participate in the crowdfunding.

Zur Klarstellung: IMA empfiehlt, Ipernity-Clubmitgliedschaften nicht zu verlängern! Die bereits gezahlten Ipernity Clubbeiträge können wir wohl abschreiben.

Die Crowdfunding-Kampagne hat überhaupt nichts mit den Mitgliedsbeiträgen an Ipernity S.A. zu tun, sondern dient dazu, von IMA zu bezahlende Serverkosten an Amazon (auch rückwirkend für März, da gestundet) aufzubringen, um damit IMA Zeit für eine Übernahme von Ipernity S.A. zu geben. Wenn das Geld nicht zusammenkommt, ist Ende März unwiderruflich Schluss, Spenden der Crowdfunding-Kampagne würden in diesem Fall rückerstattet.


By the way: this is the ascensor "Artilleria", the longest of the 15 remaining ascenores in Valparaiso, and, like the whole city, it is part of the UNESCO world heritage.
