Screapadal is another settlement abandoned and in ruins as a result of the Clearances. The houses and field systems mainly lie on top of a platform on the green sward in the middle distance under the shadow of the impressive cliffs of Creag na Bruaich (comprised of Middle Jurassic age Druim An Fhurain Sandstone).
