Dùn Caan summit view north (2)

A walk to Dùn Caan 23
A long-focus view north from the summit plateau of Dùn Caan. Just right of centre is the lower elevation, rugged ground, of the northern end of Raasay and the island of Rona just visible beyond; both comprised of Lewisian Gneiss. The contrast between this and the bedded Jurassic rocks in the foreground is marked.
