Wishing everyone a very happy Hanukkah

Wishing everyone a very happy Hanukkah
Hanukkah, (Hebrew: “Dedication”) also called Feast of Dedication, Festival of Lights, or Feast of the Maccabees, is a Jewish festival that begins on Kislev 25 (usually in December, according to the Gregorian calendar) and is celebrated for eight days. Hanukkah reaffirms the ideals of Judaism and commemorates in particular the rededication of the Second Temple of Jerusalem by the lighting of candles on each day of the festival. This year Hanukkah is celebrated from Monday, December 19 to Monday, December 26.

I agree, it's a lovely tradition and usually children enjoy it a lot. And I've seen some beautiful chanukkias, amazing works of art, as you said.

Thank you, Eva! Starting tomorrow evening... :-)
