It does not fall down! Ashkelon in 1972

It does not fall down! Ashkelon in 1972
The ancient site of Ashkelon is now a national park on the city's southern coast. The walls that encircled the city are still visible, as well as Canaanite earth ramparts. The park contains Byzantine, Crusader and Roman ruins.] The largest dog cemetery in the ancient world was discovered in Ashkelon!!!!
The wall was built in the mid-12th century by the Fatimid Caliphate.( Wikipedia)

Oh my, isn't this interesting...amazing when something like this refuses to fall!

I also wanted to say thank you for coming by to visit my last picture(s) while I was away on my vacation without a chance to reciprocate. It was wonderful to get your response and attention, and meant a lot for me to be able to read comments if I had any internet connection at all. Thanks for making me feel so cared-about! (This is a copy-paste to everyone who commented on my previous picture...I wanted to make sure everyone got a thank-you!) :)

Denise, ist sicher nicht wichtig. Aber das es damals noch stand war sogar damals unglaublich.Ich habe heute erst bemerkt dass diese Wand nicht in Ceasaría steht, sondern in Ashkelon!
