I know that there are all these different kinds of corn, but as we never get to see them, let alone cook and eat them, I have always wondered if they taste different to each other!

Mit Google gefunden: Mit mehr als 50 verschiedenen Sorten verfügt Peru über die größte Maisartenvielfalt weltweit. Am weitesten verbreitet ist die Sorte „Cusco Riesenmais“, die in 22 der 25 Regionen Perus angebaut wird.

They taste different according to the way they are used in meals, boiled, roasted, mashed, milled corn for baking in a kind of bread, and even as drinks, sweet or alcoholic...

So viele Arten von Mais (und auch Kartoffeln)! Hoffentlich bleiben die erhalten, die sind tausendmal besser als das Zeug von Monsanto/Bayer;-)

Es wird jetzt viel Werbung für Beide gemacht... eher mehr für Kartoffeln als für Mais... Sogar in den Supermarkets gibt es jetzt verschiedene Sorten von Kartoffeln .
