Busy little bee checking out my domino cactus (echinopsis subdenudata) flower. :)
One of the little fuzzy buds on the cactus exploded into a several-inches-long spike yesterday; at midnight the flower still hadn't opened, but I woke up to this. The flower will continue blooming for the next several hours, then die off later in the afternoon... With all this bee activity, I'm cautiously optimistic about fruit/seeds... :)
