My local for years was The Victory, a pub on the other side of the High Street, in fact not far from where you took this photo. It closed in about 1993 and was for a time a series of short-lived pizza restaurants and the like. It's a fine old building (far older than the sign which has 1580 on it) and I hope it has survived; it should have done so as the Pinner Residents Association has always been very forceful!.
Badly, I much enjoyed my brief visit to your excellent gallery. There is far more to see and I look forward to re-visiting as and when.
By the way, you may be wondering how I discovered your gallery. I simply wondered if there were any shots of Pinner on Ipernity and a brief look in the search box resulted in your Pinner album.
