What's Shaw's?

This building was derelict for several years until in 1997 it was fitted out as an Edwardian bookshop for a scene in the film The Wings of the Dove. Over a few days I saw big floodlights shining in through the windows, people with clipboards, catering vans and suchlike. In the scene two young women go into the shop and march straight to the back where they are not supposed to go because that's where the 'adult literature' is being perused by half a dozen furtive-looking gents, who immediately rush out of the shop. The owner then ejects the giggling ladies.
The pub opened soon afterwards. It never was a real bookshop.
