Halloween 2015, Athens, Ohio

Each year since the tradition was begun with a party-riot in 1974, the main street of Athens, Ohio, has been home to a vast Halloween street party on the Saturday night closest to Halloween.

Tens of thousands of people turned out for the 2015 event. Many are students at Ohio University, but others, from Toledo, Columbus, and Cincinnati drove in to participate in the party, which began with a charity parade.

As usual, the costumes crossed the line, and the party got crazier as the night progressed.
