Some years ago, photographer friends and I discussed the possibility that no matter where you are, at any given moment there is a good picture to be found somewhere within your view. I don't think we ever decided whether or not this was true, but the thought has always stuck with me, because it means that the mastery of photography is in finding that picture and collecting it.

Pretty between ugly

First thing I noticed on my little walk was this pretty, older building stuck between a cast concrete parking monster and a brick "modern design" bank. Once a beautiful structure, it is apparently now a container for lawyers.
