News: Fires and other disasters
I like firemen. They're not like other people. They run toward things other people run away from.
News photographers are like that, too, a little.

Bleacher Collapse, Greenburgh, New York
No one was killed but many were injured when these bleachers collapsed during a highschool football game. The cause was, briefly, a mystery.

Soon thereafter . . .
. . . the police noticed, too. The lack of the nuts was later officially determined to have been the reason the bleachers fell.

Horror on a sunny morning
A driver in a small car cut off this tractor-trailer, full of supplies for the Mister Donut chain. The truck's driver swerved to avoid the car, but his truck skidded and fell over, pinning him inside. Then a fire broke out in the trailer.

The horror grows worse
As firemen and police looked on helplessly, the truck's gas tank ruptured, engulfing the man in flames. Afterwards, all that was identifiable were the few charred dollar bills that had been in the driver's billfold.
