News: Klan march in Davie, Florida

The summer of 1978, I was assigned to cover a march by the United Klans of America down the main street of the then-tiny west Broward County, Florida, town of Davie. The march was followed by a rally and a cross burning; a Florida thunderstorm moved in and extinguished the fire, though. By then I was back in the newsroom getting the coverage together for the Sunday paper.
