The French Connection

Among the most precise and beloved airshow pilots were "The French Connection," the husband-and-wife team of Daniel Heligoin and Montaine Mallet. Ohio University's DC-3

The avionics department at Ohio University maintains a DC-3 for use in its research. In 2010, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of this remarkable airplane, OU joined others in flying their venerable airliners to Oshkosh.
