Communists in Ohio
Firefighter training
Fog on the Hocking River
A silent walk in the snow
It was preceded by a chapel service
Injured, he participated anyway
OU President M. Duane Nellis spoke
The main event
Featured speaker was Ty-Ron Douglas
The Socialists were there
As was this woman . . .
It was a big crowd, with many signs
They protested the usual litany of things
No idea. None at all.
Fashion was on parade, too
There were also antisemitic chants
They filled Court Street at the courthouse
The OU mascot, "Rufus," was there to greet the kid…
Learning how football players train
Not easy, but do-able
More fancy footwork
There were round balls, too
Aubree Riley, a real girl, performed
Arcadia
Reflection
Her arms rose slowly throughout
Fast dance
A composer, too
A different kind of salute
A salute is fired
A flute player on the chilly morning
The drums
A veteran, all decked out
Marching bands, of course
Military treats
The Parade
The Minuteman and the Mayor
High on victory

A purple ribbon

Ohio University senior nursing students, illuminated by cellular telephones with purple cellophane over them, form a human ribbon in Walter Field House to publicize their anti-opioid-drug campaign. I climbed up near to the rafters to make the picture. I'm glad I won't be doing it again.
