World in a web 7: Away with its prize


Off it goes with its booty. The spider having paid no attention to the ant taking part of her catch, I wonder if perhaps there is some cooperation here, with the spider being unable to consume the hopper's head, or something along those lines. In any case, it's arthropod behavior I'd not seen before and thought interesting.
