Fire rapidly moving towards Annat. You can just see a fire engine approaching along the road through the smoke. The full Torridon fire series can be found here .

A helicopter was brought in and used initially to survey the fire. Then a bucket was attached and it spent the rest of the day fighting the fire - starting with the front shown in the photo Torridon fire 5 The full Torridon fire series can be found here .
