France 2011
Folder: Holidays abroad
Photos taken mostly in the Luberon region of Provence, France while we were staying in a cottage just outside Grambois for a week and a half in August/September 2011.
Grambois clock tower
Grambois is a small hill top village in the Luberon area of south-east France. This clock still chimes on the hour and half hour - we could hear it from the cottage we stayed in just outside the village.
I miss those blue skies!
Grambois street
I love the small windy streets you find in the beautiful French hilltop villages. One thing I kept noticing this summer was that vines were veing grown everywhere there was space - even above the roads!

Built for relaxation
This is the ultimate seat for relaxing in. Mind you, it does require a bit of Mediterranean weather to work properly!

New vines
Caught this view on an early(ish) stroll down to the local boulangerie for fresh baguette and pain au chocolat.
Archway in La Tour D'Aigues
I have a fascination for walls, arches, passages, doors, windows etc in French villages, so you can expect to see more of these somewhat random images.
