There's lots of nice wee square and streets too. The trick is finding one without any people in it - not quite sure how i managed to do that here!

Had a great lunch in restaurant next to this place - a really nice, simple spicy pasta dish.

The pattern on the bottom of the lamp is a reflection of the floor tiling.

A traghetto is a stripped down gondola used as a mini-people ferry to cross the Grand Canal in areas where there is no bridge. We'd just crossed on this one - a journey which had a few heart stopping moments, as we dodged between water taxis and vaporettos.

Just liked the colours of this wee boat tied up.
