Premier Travel Services 3 34 & 40 timetables - 1985

Premier Travel Holiday Services 3/34/40 timetables – Summer 1985
Before the creation of Premier Travel in the 1930s, Arthur Lainson had created Undergraduate Roadways whilst at University. His first coach service was that from Cambridge to Skegness which later became Premier Travel service 3 and the service operated for over 50 years, in later years commencing at Haverhill.
In 1949 the company introduced service 34 running from Bedford to Skegness and Mablethorpe. By the 1980s both services had been revised and were linked at Huntingdon. The Bedford service (albeit extended back to start at Luton) operated as a feeder to the main Haverhill-Skegness service although the Mablethorpe extension had ceased some years earlier.
Premier Travel service 40 had originated circa 1951 and ran from Bedford to Hunstanton. In the early 1980s a joint arrangement began with Yorks Coaches whereby their Northampton-Cromer service called at Huntingdon where it was met by the Premier Travel Skegness feeder service from Bedford etc. When required through coaches would operate from Bedford to North Norfolk.
