From the driving seat 1 - 30 Mar 2005 (541-35)

Wednesday 30 March 2005 – Just a short time after making my career change I took this photograph from my new office!

Burtons Coaches had a base at the Cambus premises in Depot Road, Newmarket. This photograph was taken about 0900 as I headed to the yard and had to wait in traffic for the racehorses to cross the road. Rowley Drive is to the left and Mill Hiil/Exning Road straight ahead.

A number of roads into Newmarket in the early morning face traffic queues as the racehorses move between stables and the training grounds.
