DSCF6205 Whippet Coaches LK04 HXP (and a cyclist with an umbrella!) in Cambridge - 10 Mar 2017

Friday 10 March 2017 (1155) – Whippet Coaches WD445 (LK04 HXP) crawling up behind an umbrella carrying cyclist in Bridge Street, Cambridge arriving from Huntingdon on service X3 via Papworth. A Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL new in June 2004 new to First Centrewest (London) as their 32404. Whippet is now owned by Australian based Transit Systems which also owns Tower Transit, London. In June 2013 Tower Transit acquired First London’s operations, this bus came with the sale and was later transferred to Whippet.
