Cambus 65 (OFB 965R) in Mildenhall - 1 Mar 1994

Tuesday 1 March 1993 – The Cambus X10 service began on 22 February 1993 and linked RAF Mildenhall with Cambridge via Mildenhall town centre and Newmarket but ceased operation on Saturday 2 April 1994 so was fairly short lived. Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol LH6L 65 (OFB 965R) was operating the 1220 service from RAF Mildenhall when seen on Field Road passing what was then M&M Leisure, a caravan dealership. The property later became a BMW car dealer. Most of the X10 trips were covered by Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR double deckers but this trip (1115 from Cambridge and 1220 from RAF Mildenhall) tended to be operated by anything that may have been spare at the time. It was new to the Bristol Omnibus Company in June 1977 (fleet number 392).
